Strategic Directions

 1. Strengthen MAC’s unique role as an independent advocate with the Boston Public Schools, combining access to the school’s administration with outreach to and mobilization of community organizations.
2. Continue to prioritize special education and children with disabilities as the historic cornerstone of MAC.
3. Provide high quality legal services on a range of children’s issues, with a focus on education, through MAC’s own intake/case advocacy and our affiliation with the state civil legal aid system.
4. Expand our focus on children who have exposed to domestic violence through the Trauma and Learning Policy Initiative.
5. Examine educational barriers and issues affecting boys/males
