The Disability Task Force (DTF) was launched and supported by the Butler Foundation, Nancy Lurie Marks Family Foundation, and the Shapiro Foundation. DTF members include providers, disability organizations, advocates, family members, self-advocates, foundations, and representatives of state agencies. The DTF meets 3-4 times per year in order to address issues impacting children and adults with disabilities and also explore strategies to address barriers and increase opportunities. Members have found that DTF meetings also provide important opportunities to network across disciplines and work collaboratively with new partners.
