Ewidji Vincent

Ewidji Vincent is known throughout the community as a peer leader and a strong advocate for rights of youth with disabilities. He is involved in many youth organizations and is a peer mentor to the many youth who participate in these programs.

He is currently working at the State house for Senator Jamie Eldridge’s office, where he hopes to continue to make a difference for youth with disabilities and immigrant families across the state.

During his time as the 2024 Mass Advocates for Children’s Young Adult Leader Fellow, Ewidji co-presented trainings on bullying rights for students with disabilities, transition rights for students with disabilities, and the education rights for immigrant students. Ewidji spoke at the state house to help pass the Education Equity Bill which among other things, establishes in state law that all immigrant students have a right to education in MA. Due to his experience in the MAICEI/MAIPSE program, he chose his final project to focus on this program to encourage young adults to participate and learn about this wonderful opportunity.
