Evelyn Gearty

Evelyn is a Development Associate at MAC, where she works to connect MAC’s mission to the funders and communities who make this work possible. She works across development and communications, contributing to donor stewardship and multilingual community outreach efforts that advance educational equity in Massachusetts. 

Evelyn has spent her entire life in New England. She grew up in Connecticut before moving to Vermont where she earned a B.S. in Public Health from the University of Vermont. She then joined the Vermont Community Foundation, where she supported community-centered philanthropy and systems-level change, with a focus on health equity, education, and workforce development. 

Outside of her work, Evelyn loves practicing yoga, throwing pottery, baking sourdough, reading, listening to Noah Kahan’s music and exploring new events and food in the city.
