Roseanne Barney
Director of Finance and Operations
Roseanne Barney joins MAC as the Director of Finance and Operations, bringing over 25 years of experience in social services and nonprofit and public sector leadership. She most recently served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer at the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance, where she helped oversee procurement, contracting, and accounting for a $1 billion operating budget. Before that, she spent 15+ years with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families, most recently as Executive Officer for the Office of Regional Operations Boston office, where she served as principal advisor on operations and organizational development, financial management, and strategic initiatives for the regional office.
Known for her strategic thinking and steady leadership style, Roseanne has spent her career strengthening the systems and teams behind programs that serve families and communities. She holds a Master of Science in Public Affairs from UMass Boston and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from SUNY Geneseo. In her free time, she is a dedicated Golden Retriever mom, enjoys woodworking, and is busy with her family’s packed youth sports schedule.
